Aynabaji was released in 2016. It is a Bangladeshi crime thriller movie. Amitabh Reza Chowdhury directed the movie. Content Matters Limited produced it. Gousul Alam Shaon and Anam Biswas wrote the story and script. The main actors are Chanchal Chowdhury, Masuma Rahman Nabila, and Partha Barua.
Story Summary:
Sharafat Karim Ayna runs a theater school for children in Old Dhaka. People think he is a ship’s cook. But in reality, he goes to jail for rich criminals. A man named Gousul gives him these jobs.
One day, a businessman named Kuddus Siddiqui gets into trouble for hurting a woman. He does not want to go to jail. So, he arranges for Ayna to take his place. When Kuddus is sentenced, Ayna goes to jail instead. Kuddus enjoys his life outside and threatens the victim, Tanisha. A journalist named Saber starts to investigate.
Later, Ayna is offered another job. A rich boy has killed a driver’s son. Ayna agrees to go to jail for him. But Saber follows Ayna and tries to find out the truth. Ayna tricks Saber and escapes his watch.
After coming back, Ayna becomes friends with Hridi, his new neighbor. They grow close. Ayna decides to leave crime. They plan a trip to Sylhet for a new life.
On the morning of their journey, some men kidnap Ayna. They work for a politician named Nizam Saeed. Nizam has killed a teacher. He wants Ayna to take his place in jail. Ayna refuses, but they force him to go.
Saber and Hridi learn the truth about Ayna. The court orders Nizam’s execution. But Nizam escapes. He sends men to kill Gousul so Ayna cannot prove anything.
In jail, Ayna makes friends with a prison guard, Labu Miah. Ayna uses his acting skills. He disguises Labu as Nizam and escapes in Labu’s uniform.
In the last scene, Ayna tells the police where to find Nizam. The police arrest Nizam. Ayna and Hridi sit together to watch a children’s play, Tasher Desh.
