The story starts in a village flooded by heavy rain. People gather at a tea stall, listening to a weather warning on the radio. In that water, two boysâPalash and Shafikulâgo to catch fish. They are not just friends; they are best friends or “Dostojee”.
They skip school to watch bioscope shows, steal money from their pockets and get scolded, laugh and cry together. Their friendship is full of innocent moments. But one day, while flying kites, a mistake causes a fight between them. This creates distance and sadness.
The story changes when one of them gets sick. The other friend comes to meet him. They draw a heart symbol under a tree, showing their love and friendship againâbecause true friendship means caring without expecting anything.
