Dragon is a 2025 Tamil comedy-drama film. It is written and directed by Ashwath Marimuthu and produced by AGS Entertainment. The movie stars Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead role, with Anupama Parameswaran, Kayadu Lohar, Mysskin, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and K. S. Ravikumar.
Story Summary
Raghavan is a brilliant student. But after his crush rejects him, he becomes a rebellious person called “Dragon.” He fails many subjects and leaves college with 48 backlogs. To impress others, he fakes a degree and gets a high-paying job. Soon, he builds a rich lifestyle.
One day, his former dean finds out the truth. The dean gives him two choices—pass all his exams in one attempt or face the truth. Dragon goes back to college but struggles. In the end, he cheats again to pass.
Later, he learns that his cheating caused a classmate to fail and lose a job opportunity. He feels guilty. He confesses his fraud, cancels his wedding, and surrenders to the police. He spends six months in jail.
A Fresh Start
After his release, Dragon chooses an honest life. He takes a simple job and restarts his studies. Seeing his change, the dean offers his daughter’s hand in marriage. Dragon gets a second chance to build his life the right way.
“Dragon” is a story about failure, mistakes, and redemption. It teaches that true success comes from honesty and hard work.
