Story Summary
Jhumur is a smart girl. She studies at Natagarh Indigenous Primary School. She always comes first in class. She is also very good at sports. But her family life is difficult. Her father is an alcoholic and does not work. Her mother works hard in the fields all day.
Jhumur grows up to be very brave. One day, she kills a man-eating jackal. After finishing her studies, she moves to the city for her PhD. She leaves her village to follow her dreams.
Life in the city is not easy. She faces many problems. She makes a close friend at university. The friend takes a part-time job. Everything seems fine. But one day, her friend suddenly dies by suicide. Before dying, she posts a video explaining why.
Jhumur is shocked. A powerful political leader is involved in the case. Jhumur cannot accept this injustice. She decides to fight for the truth. This takes the story in a new direction.
