Siam Ahmed’s New Film Jongli Released on Eid-ul-Fitr
This Eid-ul-Fitr, popular actor Siam Ahmed has returned to the big screen with his much-anticipated film Jongli. Starring opposite him is Shobnom Bubly, who plays the role of a lawyer.

Story Summary:
The film revolves around the life of a gentle young man named Johnny. After falling in love, Johnny transforms himself—becoming neat and organized. However, when cracks begin to form in his relationship, his life takes a dark turn. He gradually becomes a drifter—with disheveled hair, dirty clothes, and a foul smell—earning him the nickname Jongli (meaning “wild”).
At this low point in his life, an orphaned child named Pakhi enters the scene. An extraordinary father-daughter bond forms between Johnny and Pakhi. But one day, in a moment of anger, Johnny pushes Pakhi away. When he later returns for her, she is nowhere to be found. After an intense search, she is finally found—gravely injured, a victim of brutal abuse at the hands of some criminals.
The police suspect Johnny and take him to court. However, with the help of the lawyer portrayed by Bubly, Johnny is granted bail. What follows is a father’s quest for justice—a tale of vengeance and the rise of Jongli.
