Story Summary:
Sajib and Arif are close friends. But their thoughts are very different. Arif dislikes women strongly. He even gets angry seeing pictures of women — even on soap wrappers!
Sajib, however, is in love. He loves a girl named Madhobi. But he never told Arif because of his attitude. One day, Arif finds Madhobi’s photo under a pillow and throws it away. Sajib becomes very angry and wants to end their friendship.
Then Arif shares a sad story from his past. He once loved a girl named Sonali. But one day, he accidentally killed someone with his car. He had to go to jail for six months. After returning, he found out that Sonali had married someone else. This broke his heart and made him hate women.
Arif tells Sajib that love only brings pain. But Sajib disagrees. He wants to prove that love is real. So he fakes his own death and hides for six months.
Madhobi is shocked by the news. She is heartbroken and doesn’t know how to deal with the pain.
