Plot Summary
The story begins with Magistrate John Baby having a car accident. After he recovers, he starts losing his memory. His friend, Shalini, a child psychologist, tells him about an unusual case of an eight-year-old boy named Nithin. The boy tells a murder story, which later turns out to be true.
John and Shalini go to Nithin’s mother, Sharmila, to investigate. At first, Sharmila doesn’t answer any questions, but later she tells everything. During the investigation, John finds a human skull, which proves another story Nithin had told.
John realizes that Sharmila tells stories to her son while sleeping, and Nithin repeats them to others as his own. An old man, Vishwanathan, says that Sharmila’s mother was once his lover and had killed many people for politics. These confessions stayed in Sharmila’s subconscious mind, and she told them to her son unknowingly.
When John tries to arrest Vishwanathan, Sharmila helps him escape. Later, Vishwanathan goes to Sharmila’s house and tries to kill her. John arrives just in time to save her. During the fight, Vishwanathan falls from the balcony and dies.
In the end, John is free from his memory loss, but Sharmila starts having new hallucinations.
