Story Summary:
Sujon and Pori are childhood friends. They play together and enjoy life. But a misunderstanding separates them.
After ten years, Sujon grows up. He dreams of becoming a movie hero. Pori still loves him, but Sujon ignores her.
One day, Sujon also falls in love with Pori. They decide to run away. But Pori’s brother catches them. He gets angry and attacks Sujon with a machete. Sujon is badly hurt. Pori thinks he is dead. In pain, she takes her own life.
Sujon survives and returns. He sees Pori hanging. He knows that suicide victims do not get a funeral. So, he stabs Pori’s body and says, “You stabbed me, I stabbed you.”
Pori’s brother gets furious and beats Sujon badly. Sujon’s brother begs him to stop. Before dying, Sujon says he only wanted Pori to have a funeral.
In the end, Pori’s funeral is held. Sujon also dies slowly.
