April 11, 2025 — The film Puratawn The Ancient has been released in theaters.

Story Summary:
The story starts with a housemaid. She is calling out, “Thammi, Thammi” (Grandmother). But everything is quiet. Night has already fallen. Then we see Thammi, the old woman, sitting quietly and looking at the road. She seems to be waiting for someone. She has waited many years, hoping her daughter will return one day.
Thammi slowly starts losing her memory. One day, while out with her daughter, she suddenly asks, “Who are you?” Her daughter is shocked. Everything changes in that moment.
Their store room is full of old papers, bank slips, and pieces of memories. The daughter wants to throw them away, but the mother does not agree. This creates tension between them—between memories and reality.
Later, the story shows the daughter’s marriage plans. They try to help the mother adjust to a new city life. But deep down, the bond between mother and daughter stays strong. Their unspoken emotions and love remain at the heart of the story.
