Story Summary:
Mili is a simple housewife. At first, her married life is peaceful. But with time, it becomes a terrible nightmare. Her husband starts abusing her regularly—both physically and mentally.
One night, when her life is in danger, Mili fights back and injures her husband to save herself. She runs away. But the matter doesn’t end. Her father-in-law files a case against her, accusing her of trying to kill her husband.
The police arrest Mili from her mother’s house. During the investigation, they find old injury marks on Mili’s body. Seeing this, the police encourage her to file a case against her husband.
At first, Mili is afraid. She fears society, shame, and what her family might think. So, she does not want to file a case. But the police say they cannot help her unless she complains. At last, Mili agrees and files the case.
But things become more complicated. The police find out that her husband had affairs with many female co-workers. The situation keeps getting worse.
Can Mili get justice in court? Or will the guilty walk free due to lack of proof and social pressure?
