Story Summary
The movie starts with the murder of CEO Wang Shikang. He was researching cancer treatment before he died.
Detective Ah-Bao and her husband Liang Wenchao start an investigation. Liang is also suffering from cancer.
At first, they suspect Wang’s wife, Li Yan. But she says that Wang’s son, Tianyu, killed him. However, Li Yan starts having seizures and hallucinations. She says she sees Wang’s first wife, Tang Suzhen, who is already dead!
A Strange Experiment
During the investigation, a shocking truth is revealed. Dr. Wan and Li Yan transplanted Tang Suzhen’s brain cells into Li Yan. Because of this, Tang’s personality started appearing inside Li Yan.
Later, Liang suspects that CEO Wang transferred his own brain into Li Yan’s body.
A Mysterious Ending
In the end, Li Yan confesses her crime. Dr. Wan kills himself.
Detective Ah-Bao visits Li Yan in jail with her child. But something strange happens. Li Yan now acts like Liang!
This makes the audience wonder—Is Liang now living inside Li Yan’s body?
